Women’s Ministry
Women on Missions
WMU at Rocky Valley Baptist Church
Our Women’s Ministry Union (WMU) was started in 2003. Our group is open to women of all ages. Our goal is to do mission work within our community and within our church. Some projects that we have done include: working at our local food bank, providing meals for our local women’s shelter, collecting school supplies for the children in our schools, and hosting blood drives for our community. We are also in charge of raising money for our local and international missionary programs.
While we are able to do a lot of projects and mission work, our primary goal is to share the love of Jesus with everybody we can. Jesus is the leader of our group and the reason we are able to help people every month.
We meet on the third Friday of every month at 6:30 pm. Our meetings always start out with prayer time and food. We have a devotion and a discussion of the work we are planning to do for that month.
We would love to have you join us!! If you would like more information on how you can get involved please contact us through the form below.

Announcement:
WMU is making blessing bags for the Compassionate Hands Ministry. These bags will go to homeless individuals who stay overnight with this ministry. We need items such as gallon size bags, snacks, toothpaste and toothbrushes, hair brushes, washcloths, hand sanitizer, Bibles, etc. If you would like to help, please place items in the storage tub in the back foyer. Children’s Church will be putting these bags together.
If you are interested in helping prepare food for families who have lost loved ones within our church family, please see Leitte Mull to be on that team.
