Forward

As we step into a new year, I find myself reflecting with deep gratitude on the unmistakable hand of God in 2025.

This past year has been one of growth, refinement, and blessing. We have seen prayers answered, lives changed, relationships strengthened, and God’s faithfulness displayed in ways both seen and unseen. There were moments of celebration and moments that required perseverance—but through it all, the Lord proved Himself faithful.

“This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope: Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”

— Lamentations 3:21–23 (NKJV)

As a church family, we can confidently say that God has carried us. He has gone before us. He has sustained us. And as we pause to give thanks, we do so knowing that every good gift has come from Him (James 1:17).

Now, with humble hearts and expectant faith, we look ahead to 2026.

We do not know every detail of what this year will hold—but we know the One who holds it. Our desire is not simply to be busy, but to be faithful. Not just to grow in number, but to grow in depth, devotion, and obedience. Our mission remains the same: to glorify God, to make disciples, to love our community, and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

— Proverbs 3:5–6 (NKJV)

As we move forward, may we walk boldly into what God is calling us to—united in purpose, anchored in truth, and led by the Spirit. May 2026 be a year where we step out in faith, serve with joy, love sacrificially, and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

— Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)

Thank you, Rocky Valley family, for walking this journey together. Let us praise God for what He has done—and trust Him fully for what is yet to come.

To God be the glory—in 2025, in 2026, and forever.
