In Romans 5:18–21, Paul draws a powerful comparison between Adam and Christ. Through Adam’s one act of disobedience, sin entered the world, and condemnation spread to all. But through Christ’s one act of righteousness—the cross—grace and justification are offered to all who believe. Where sin abounded, grace abounded much more. I stand thankful for that truth every single day!!
This is the heart of the gospel. We don’t have to stay under the weight of guilt and failure. No matter how dark sin’s grip has been, God’s grace in Jesus shines brighter. What Adam broke, Christ restored. What sin destroyed, Christ redeems.
So when life reminds you of your failures, remember that God’s grace is greater still. When sin tries to tell you that you’re too far gone, remember that Christ’s righteousness has already spoken a better word. Through Him, we are not condemned—we are made alive. Let’s walk in that victory today!
